Experiencing the workplace.

Most of the young people we mentor are long term NEET and have little or no experience of the workplace.

By setting up placements tailored to the young person’s needs and aspirations, we enable the next step on their journey to becoming work-ready and finding employment.


Ryan was dismissed from college and didn’t know what he wanted to do for a job. Having started a 2 week work placement in stone-masonry he started to wonder if there were any benefits to work experience. He and his mentor worked through this together and Ryan decided to stick it out. At the end of the 2 weeks Ryan was offered an apprenticeship with the same organisation, which he has been excelling in for over 6 months.
